Thabisa

South African

artist

Singer, songwriter, artivist, painter, community builder, wife, mother... Thabisa does it all "I consider myself a 'generartist'. which is a word play from generalist. I coined this after realizing my sole existence in this life is to live it the best I can, explore my boundaries and do all I can while I am breathing and able". This soul star uses her voice as a sound piece for inspiration and change,

Thabisa blends elements of African jazz, Afropop, soul and funk in a style that is distinctively her own. Soulful yet sultry, her electrifying voice and boundless energy captivate audiences each time she steps on stage. She is a phenomenal performer who's stage presence captures hearts and speaks to the soul.

Born and raised in South Africa, Thabisa's music draws heavily from the highs and lows of ordinary life to create an experience that is both personal and uplifting.  Thabisa's performance is both electrifying and an full body and spirit experience. Thabisa is constantly evolving and refuses to box her genre of music and believes that her sound and style constantly grows with her.  Gifted with a name that means "to make others happy," Thabisa is an artist not to be missed.
